I am an applied mathematics Ph.D. candidate at Brown University. My research focuses on numerical methods for partial differential equations and scientific computing.

Music

I’ve played a variety of instruments over the years, including piano, French horn, and flute, though I am most proficient with piano. I’m a big fan of jazz music, and enjoy both listening to and playing it. A few of my favorite artists include Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, and Eric Dolphy.

Computing

I have a strong interest in programming. I’m proficient in several programming languages, including Python, C++, and MATLAB. I’m also very passionate about Linux and open-source software, and I’m a contributor to MFEM, an open-source library for finite element methods.
